About the Author
I'm Caroline Wagstaff and a lifelong Windsor Resident. I went to school at Clewer Green and Brigidine Convent and attended Windsor and Maidenhead College before starting work at a local Windsor estate agent. For the next 20 years I've worked marketing, event and communications project management for several international IT companies before inventing the BackBliss range of back products (back scratchers and lotion applicators). I was a finalist in the British Female Inventor of the Year competition in 2003 and received a GWIIN top ten award in the same year (Global Women Inventors and Innovation Network). I've appeared on the BBC2 show Dragons' Den, ITV's London Tonight and Loose Lips with Melinda Messenger and Richard Arnold.
In November 2008 I launched Words of Art with my mother (former Windsor resident, Rosemary Wagstaff) - a company selling Fine Art Personalised Floral Name prints and greetings cards.
I am not quite sure where a book about Windsor fits in but it has been great fun to produce in collaboration with so many fellow Windsorians. I know you will enjoy the book and buy others to give as presents and momentos of Windsor.
